MINERAL GLASS
Mineral Glass is created from natural elements like sand and soda ash. It’s endlessly recyclable and harmless to humans and animals alike. It’s high resistance to scratching and lack of distortion make it the world’s best lens material. It really does have to be Mineral Glass.
100% UVA/UVB PROTECTION
All OTIS fixed-tint lenses block 100% of harmful UVA, UVB and HEV light to provide superior protection from solar damage causing intraocular melanoma and macular degeneration, as well as reducing eye fatigue and reducing the visible signs of aging, while maintaining true color and depth perception.
4 BASE LENS CURVE
Lens 'Base Curve' is a measure of the front curvature of the lens. The higher the number, the greater the curve. 4 and 6 base lenses are generally flatter across the front. 8 base lenses have a greater curve for a more 'wrapped' look.
HANDMADE ACETATE FRAMES
Made with premium quality acetate (originating from renewable resources wood pulp & cotton fibre), the ideal material for making durable eyewear. Its hue is embedded within the product rather than sprayed onto the surface, retaining colour brightness and preventing peeling & fading. OTIS handmade frames have stainless steel wires injected into the temples for adjustability - a task best performed by an Eye Care Professional.
VISSOTTICA HINGES WITH STAINLESS STEEL SCREWS
OTIS frames are produced with high quality 3, 5 and 7 barrel hinges. These premium grade Vissottica brand hinges are extremely durable and boast 100% corrosion resistance.
LIFETIME MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
OTIS sunglasses are constructed using the highest quality materials available. Each component is individually quality checked before being carefully packaged, ready for sale. OTIS sunglasses have warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the expected lifetime of the sunglasses. Damage to lenses, frames and other components due to normal wear and tear are not covered under warranty. Please refer to our Repairs page for all information regarding repairing your damaged sunglasses.
All warranty claims must be accompanied with a proof of purchase. When sending your sunglasses back to OTIS, OTIS recommends tracking your parcel to ensure it ends up in the right hands. OTIS is not responsible for costs associated with tracking your parcel or postage fees.
Where a warranty claim is accepted, OTIS has the right to repair or replace at no cost to you. If not deemed to be a valid warranty, OTIS will offer a suitable replacement at a reasonable charge subject to availability.
Scratched and broken lenses are not covered under warranty. Mineral glass is the most scratch resistant lens material available, but it is not scratch proof. All OTIS lenses exceed the strictest Australian, USA, and European standards for quality and strength. However, mineral glass lenses can scratch or crack if not cared for properly
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Shipping
Shipping options are available during the check-out process.
Orders are processed within 1-3 business day - orders received after 2pm will be shipped the following business day. Allow 5-10 business days for delivery.
Please note: To increase success delivery of your order, please provide an address where someone will be available to receive the parcel between 9am – 5pm. For example, place of work or office. If you do provide a work address, please state the business name.
If there is no one at the delivery address when the parcel arrives, the parcel may be left at the door (if the door is accessible and the parcel doesn't require a signature).
If Australia Post is unable to access your door or the parcel requires a signature, your parcel will be delivered to the nearest post office, where you will need to sign to retrieve it. Australia Post has the final decision whether to leave the package or not.
All orders are packaged carefully in a bubble wrap to ensure safe arrival.
Returns Policy
We offer returns for 30 days from the date of purchase. However, not all items are eligible. Any exclusions will be called out on product pages and/or at checkout.
Our change of mind returns policy:
As long as the return is initiated (via email to us) and the return is placed in the post within 30 days of purchase. 'Date of purchase' is when you purchased the products online.
Items must be unworn and unused and in a saleable condition with the original tags still attached;
Items must be returned in the original packaging, which must be in the original condition, including sealed boxes, branded dust bags, etc.
